This charming little Irish Miss was recently signed by Warner Bros. and will soon be seen in the film, INVITATION TO A MURDER. Mary is the second of the Brodell sisters to be signed to a contract by the Burbank lot. Her sister, Joan Leslie (her original name was too much like Joan Blondell's) was signed by the studio a month before Mary. Little sister Joan started Mary's cinematic career by giving her a job as her stand-in in "High Sierra." Now she is a full fledged player.
